Zayed Sustainability Prize Highlights Impact Through Innovation

On January 18, 2023, I had the chance to moderate some seriously impactful sessions at the Zayed Sustainability Prize Forum, representing Reuters.

As part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, these panels allowed me dive deep into some really interesting topics. One session that really caught my attention was all about "Shaping Sustainable Communities."

We had some heavy hitters in the lineup, like Satya Tripathi, who's the Secretary General of the Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP); Tala Al Ramahi, Director at the Crown Prince Court; and Kristina Skierka, CEO of Power For All.

I also led another session called "Impact Through Innovation." That one was particularly insightful because I got to have a chat with Nicole Iseppi, who's the Managing Director for Global Energy Innovation at the Bezos Earth Fund.

Since its start back in 2008, the Zayed Sustainability Prize has served as a platform for global change. It's all about spotlighting those impactful sustainability solutions, and it was great to shine a light on the big impact the initiative is having.
